After Mount Rainier, we raced up to Sea-Tac to drop off Terry. He was to fly back to Toronto and we continued our trip by returning to Portland for another load-up of wine — this time from the Willamette Valley wineries. After filling the back of the truck up again, we headed out along the Columbia river.

We did not have the time to head into the Hell’s Canyon area, so we proceeded south into Idaho and to where the Snake river enters the Canyon and thence to Mountain Home where we stopped for the night.
