On our way from the Capitol Reef to the Natural Bridges area, we had to cross some very interesting country as well. Just east of the Capitol Reef is the town of Caineville. The land around Caineville looks like a stegosaurus’ back with a number of jutting, ragged, sheets of rockĀ  sticking out of the ground. We also had to pass by the Henry Mountains (seen in the distance on the Boulder mountain picture). Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures!

However, we also had to cross back over the Colorado River at White’s Canyon which is part of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Here, I just had to get out and take a panoramic picture. The expanse of country was stupendous even after all of the things we had just seen.
