This has been on my list of places to see for 30 years, but I never had the time as I zinged past to other destinations. This time, however, we had a chance to see it before meeting up with our final party member in the late afternoon at Louisville.

It was worth the visit and we could have easily spent 8 hours going through the place thoroughly. But while we moved somewhat fast, we did get to see (if briefly) all of the hanger buildings. Following a tour route, you are guided through time as air craft develop. The start is the Wright Brothers (and other early innovators), moving through both world wars, Korea, Vietnam and stealth planes and finally space travel.

Here are some collected highlights.
