After we were finished at the ‘Breaks, we kept going west to the I-15, then south to St. George. At St. George (and Hurricane) we took a moment to get lunch — introducing my companions to Carl’s Junior, yes, I have a bit of a ‘thing’ for bacon double western cheeseburgers — and drop in to a Dick’s Sporting Goods for a cooler and a Walmart for a comforter for extra protection against the cold.

After that mission, we headed north-east to Zion National Park. We arrived at the park in the late afternoon, so we did not have time for any tours — which now require a bus ride, no cars allowed! Instead we spent some time at the Visitor Centre and then took the main road east through the park tunnel, out of the east entrance to the park and thence back to our camp site.

Of course, I took some pictures of the Zion sights as we drove!
